On October 19, Albertans will be asked to consider ten referendum questions dealing with immigration, constitutional issues and Alberta’s future within Canada. Before You Vote is a new resource providing background information, perspectives and links to help Albertans learn more about the questions before casting their ballots.

The Before You Vote website provides information on each of the ten referendum questions, along with articles, commentary and links to additional resources for Albertans who want to explore the issues in greater detail.

Before You Vote was created by a group of Albertans from across the political spectrum with backgrounds in community involvement, government, public service, law and media. The group says its work is focused on providing credible, fact-based information and encouraging Albertans to consider the implications of the questions before voting.

The Tory Party of Alberta believes Albertans should have access to information, consider a range of perspectives and make their own informed decisions on the questions before them.

We are sharing Before You Vote as one resource available to Albertans as they prepare for the October referendum.
