The Honourable Peter Guthrie, leader of the Progressive Tory Party of Alberta, is pleased to announce the party’s initial 25 Constituency Associations are up and running. This milestone is on target to have 91 Constituency Associations, each with a quality candidate to run in the 2027 Alberta General Election.
“We have lots of work underway as we build this new, progressive conservative home for Alberta voters. I’m excited to see so many Albertans rolling up their sleeves to take on organizing Constituency Associations. It’s a key role,” observed Guthrie.
From its Board of Directors, to Constituency Association Presidents, to a growing base of members, the Tory Party has the capacity to organize and build with a defined goal of forming Alberta’s next government.
“The enthusiasm we’re encountering in every corner of the province is a solid indication of the reality: people are disappointed in today’s government and they weren’t finding an alternative that matched their perspective. They were politically homeless. And now that’s changed,” Guthrie explained.
While the plan is on track, the task of building a new party for Alberta is substantial. There are many opportunities to join and participate in this history-making venture. To join, donate, volunteer or simply learn more, go to albertatory.ca
